The ability to write in Arabic is one of the important competencies that need to be mastered by high school students, especially in the context of religious education and the development of second language literacy. However, the main challenge in teaching Arabic is students' low understanding of complex syntactic structures. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of syntactic analysis in improving the Arabic writing proficiency of high school students. With a literature study approach, this study analyzes various findings from scientific articles, books, and related reports published in the last five years. The data was analyzed using thematic analysis methods to identify relevant key patterns and themes. The results of the study show that the syntactic analysis approach significantly helps students understand the relationships between sentence elements, improve grammar skills, and produce more coherent writing. In addition, the use of digital media and educational technology has been shown to increase the effectiveness of these methods, especially in providing direct feedback to students. This study suggests the development of more innovative and adaptive syntactic analysis-based teaching methods, including technology integration, to support more effective Arabic language learning.
