Abstract

The rapid development of the digital economy has transformed the global financial system through technological integration, yet financial inclusion remains a major challenge in developing countries, including Indonesia. Islamic fintech emerges as an innovative solution that integrates digital financial services with Sharia principles to promote inclusive and equitable access. This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic fintech in enhancing financial inclusion and to identify factors influencing its effectiveness in the digital economy era. The research employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method, analyzing academic journals, official reports, and international publications. Data are examined through content analysis to identify key themes and relationships. The findings indicate that Islamic fintech plays a significant role in expanding financial access by offering flexible, transparent, and Sharia-compliant digital services. However, its effectiveness is influenced by financial literacy, technological infrastructure, regulatory frameworks, and public trust. Therefore, integrated strategies are required to optimize its role in achieving sustainable financial inclusion.
